EXHIBITIONS
The
first significant event of the ICIF was the preparation of a traveling
international exhibit «Iakov Chernikhov’s Architectural Fantasies»,
which included over 750 originals of Iakov Chernikhov’s works from
collections at the Central State Archives of Literature and Art
of the USSR and from Andrey Chernikhov’s personal archives. The
exhibit was displayed at the Bienniale «Interarch-89» in Sofia (Bulgaria)
with participation of the IFYA and the USSR Union of the Architects,
with the patronage of the IAA.
The
airline Lufthansa was the general sponsor of the exhibition. The
Foundation has been entrusted with the direction of the exhibition
since 1991. The preparation of the exhibition in Europe was performed
by the Russian and Bulgarian centers of the Foundation

1991-2002
The mobile international exhibition of facsimile copies of works
of Iakov Chernikhov “Iakov Chernikhov. Fundamentals of modern architecture”
The
exhibition includes over 100 facsimile copies of I. Chernikhov’s
compositions
and solid models from wood, glass, cardboard and plastic, made on
the basis of Iakov Chernikhov’s compositions.

2002-2003:
Mobile international exhibition of facsimile copies and three-dimensional
visualizations. "Iakov Chernikhov’s Architectural
Fantasies. Second Reality".
In 2002 the Russian and Bulgarian centers of the Foundation started
a program of virtualization of the images created by Iakov Chernikhov
implemented in a new concept of the exhibition. Besides the facsimile
copies, the exposition included 3D computer models made on the basis
of compositions created by I. Chernikhov as well as their animations
displayed as a computer show.

The exhibition was prepared on the basis of scientific research
conducted by Doctor of Architecture M.S. Bulatov (Tashkent, Uzbekistan).
The geography of the exhibition –
Tashkent, Moscow, Samarkand – during the festivities dedicated to
500th anniversary of Ulugbek.
In
2004 the Fund was co-organizer of the Charitable Architectural Foundation
named after M.S. Bulatov in Tashkent. The Foundation is preparing
an annual bulletin dealing with the topic of architecture and outer
space.
